Have you ever tried on a pair of hand knitted socks? Have you ever knitted a pair... well do you knit?

Welcome to my obsession. Take a gander at this recent blog entry about the joy of socks, both for wearing and knitting.

Hand knitted socks are like a little bit of love living on your feet. When someone knits a pair of socks for someone else, every stitch is knit with that person in mind. With wonderful thoughts and smiles. Think about that karma... little white lights twinkling with each glorious step in those socks.

same sex marriage in canada

The online vote AGAINST same-sex marriage is 80%, 18,574 votes. This is plain weird. Likely right-wing lobby groups and so on have apprised members about the Globe poll. Since it is a poll that is often quoted and touted as a barometer of Canadian public opinion, people pay attention to it.

Having had a friend who was a member some years ago, I know what some of their tactics are. Let's keep the fight for human rights going. It looks like we may have to do some work.
