climate change info...from climate scientists!

Climate change is a hot topic these days, and it seems that everyone has an opinion. The problem is that with all the opinions out there, it's hard to tell if anyone really knows what they're talking about!

Dr. Gavin Schmidt is a leading climate scientist at NASA Goddard’s Institute for Space Studies, and is one of the founders of RealClimate.org, which attempts to make some sense out of the madness surrounding global warming. To listen to him being interviewed....

The Little Chicken Book is hitting the stands this week!!!

I have been telling people lately that I feel like a Roomba. You know those little mini-robot vacuum cleaners that you turn on and let run around your living room? They work by bashing into walls and furniture and then remembering where the obstacles are. At some point they seem to know what they're doing and go quickly around until someone moves a chair or adds an object, and then it's bonks around again until the path is free.

global warming and all that...

As a person who likes to 'see for myself', I have found that all the information in the media about global warming have been a bit confusing. Some say it's really hot, others claim it's not. Some say it's happening fast, others not.

I found this website where I could do my own 'look-see'. Unfortunately, it only covers the U.S.
