Politics and business are often run as a zero - sum game. You lose, I win, and vice versa.
Education is the opposite. You lose, I lose. You win, I win.
It is important to refuse to play the zero sum game.

learn to juggle, grow your brain...

give a doctor who juggles an MRI machine and pretty soon you'll have a study looking into whether or not learning a new skill affects the structure of the brain in adults. Sure enough it does. At least it improves the connections in the part of the brain that controls the muscles that control the juggling.
