Researchers at Brunel University say that symmetry in body shape, not just facial symmetry, determines attractiveness.

Using similar 3-D models with the heads removed, researchers found that symmetrical bodies are more appealing to the opposite sex and that traditionally masculine and feminine traits are tied to symmetry.

The Perseid Meteor Shower is predicted to peak this week late Monday and early Tuesday. Could be as many as 90 to 100 meteors an hour during the peak. Don't know how badly light pollution from proximity to urban areas will affect viewing. National Geographic has the story.
