butterfly sighting

I was outside watering an agave americana when a butterfly decided to alight on my shorts for a minute. After it flitted off to a nearby rock I slipped inside and out with my camera but no more sign of it. So no new gallery photo. It appears to have been a Hackberry Emperor. . Which is the first one of those I've identified here. They like hackberries and sugarberries which are something in the category of "weed trees" or natives that folks don't particularly care for. I don't know why not. At least they're not crepe myrtles. Saw the hummingbird too, but no camera then either. Can't photograph everything.
