coming soon to a planet near you - total solar eclipse august 1st

If you want to see it live, looks like you need to head to north Canada, or China, or somewhere close to the North Pole...wear your galoshes.

Read the news at National Geographic. They'll probably have some good videos after the eclipse, too, so check the link after August 1st as well.

you gotta scroll way down for the web cast links and wake up early in the morning in order to see the eclipse in China, it would appear.
