Well that's an impressive list of subversive activities! And it takes great courage, even in these enlightened times, to freely admit that one experimented with thespianism.

"Thank god I'm an atheist" brings up an interesting observation I've made about language and its common use. Almost everyone in North America, atheist, agnostic, faithful all, uses expletives like "Jesus!" or "God damn it!" or perhaps the more minced "Gosh!". It seems that reference to deities, pseudo- or otherwise, is inescapable in order to clearly express one's frustration or disdain.

What's a poor atheist to do? Gosh!

I just filled out my application for the Obama-Biden administration. I figured, I'm retired, I'm young, I just had a physical and it looks like I'm more or less healthy physically, so why not? Although I did hear news reports that there was a question about "are there any possibly embarrassing things about you in your past that we should know?" or that people were asked to submit all their electronic postings (like this I suppose) - but I didn't see that. Either I got a different form than those folks, or those folks were actually being considered for a position - I don't know - but anyway, I thought I would disclose in advance some possibly shameful things:
