Just picked up on this over at WFMU's Beware The Blog. Loituma is the group - Leva's Polka is the tune - a highly infectious melody that will chase your blues away. It's got a nice melody, good beat, unintelligible lyrics, and you can dance to it, Mr Clark. I give it a 95.

What a great song! I'd sing along except I have no idea what they're saying. I like the live one better because it's much longer, and the dancing robot one reminds me too much of that stupid dancing baby that took over the 'net a couple of years ago. Never did like that baby.

What a treasure! thank you for posting this - you can still sing along but you have to make up your own song if you are not fluent in the language. Sounds Icelandic or Finnish. Or a bit like the Doric dialect of Northeastern Scotland which is a combination of Galic, Icelandic and Danish.
