MAPS.org has a reprint of News@Nature.com's article about renewed interest in the use of psychotropic substances to relieve and prevent cluster headaches, finding greater success than migraine medicines.

Of course, they do mention that the doses used are sub-hallucinogenic, so there shouldn't be any danger of freaking out as a side effect.
