evening star rain lilies are bloomingsubmitted by robertkamper on wed, 2006-04-26 01:05. terms: organic gardening
These native wildflowers look a bit like onions most of the time, just some green stems sticking out of the ground. They get their name from their habit of blooming a few days after a rain, approximate flowering season is May-September but it has been warm this April. Typically things get dry and 100+ degrees hot by late June to early July through September. So I'm enjoying them whilst they are blooming. |
