Doe Eyes

This is probably my favourite Bonnie photo so far. It says everything about her. In her eyes you can see the residual sadness from her former life, the "you'll always love me, right?" hopefulness, and the "I sure do love you" melt-your-heart stare.

This is my Bonnie. The dog that was not wanted, abused, neglected and even hated. Left outside in the cold, an embeded collar and fed raw chicken.
Screamed at, hit, pushed outside. Called stupid, useless and they hoped she would run away..

She is the sweetest little person I've ever met. She lives for kisses and play time. She loves to steal cookies and anything Fergus has.
She is an amazing swimmer and athlete, scaling vertical walls used for training police dogs, as good if not better than they do! Fergus refuses to do the wall - but Bonnie is right into it. Jumping hurdles and anything you present her with, she is up for it.
This is the dog that wasn't wanted. Bonnie is a star.

Bonnie wins hands down.
She obviously has heart, and her doe eyed appeal is sincere, and not an animated character!
Except for not running away from "home" and the amazing swimmer, athlete and star parts, her story sounds much like mine. Come to think of it, her eyes look a lot like mine, too.;-)
