On a related note, by about six feet distance, at 6 pm or so my significant other saw a fox in the backyard drinking from the bird watering station (no word on where the birds were at the time). Mmm... that's two foxes, I quipped with a twinkle in my eye and a sly foxy grin upon my face. She ignored my dry humor and went on to water the plants. I proceeded to feed the deer.
