Looks like the greenbelt herd is up to an even dozen - 6 fawns, 4 does, and 2 bucks wandered by this afternoon and are somewhere in this snapshot. They do get a little crowded toward the back with the overlapping. A little composition in camera and creative cropping keeps the apartment complex out of view to the right and the fence out of view in the foreground, leaving us with several more or less horizontal wedges of blue, green, and brown with grasses providing some vertical lines for contrast at the bottom...or that's my aesthetic interpretation. Plus my Nana took me to see Bambi at the movie theater when I was a little kid, so I get all warm and fuzzy looking at deer.
