man man: This old man actually sat down in the bar area to get sort of out of the way of the tobacco smoke and look at the sxsw schedule and slowly sip on a lite beer. They sounded pretty good. At one point a woman appeared to be getting ready to sit down across from me but instead the chair went sideways and she went down to the floor out cold. Folks gathered round. It looked to me like she might have had a seizure, but not clear. Folks helped her up to the chair and she seemed to be okay for a few seconds, then suddenly passed out again, this time I definitely saw twitching and felt her feet kicking me repeatedly under the table as she went down. This time the concerned citizens let her stay on the floor a little longer and applied cold wet napkins to her neck and forehead, got her to talk, stick out her tongue (apparently they had recently read the same article about identifying strokes that I had) but she denied having epilepsy or having any meds in her purse...but folks assisted her to the street so the EMTs could check her out just to be sure she was okay.
