The Mexican Plum is starting to bloom, too. Last week the temperature hit 93 degrees F, the hottest for the date since 1967. Not really expecting a late freeze this year... huisachesubmitted by robertkamper on mon, 2008-03-17 20:55.

The birds like to take cover in the huisache tree while waiting for their turn at the bird feeder. The flowers add a little more cover and soon there will be green leaves and everything.  |
