birds of texas: american robin. first sighting in the back yard ground level water source as I returned from behind the fence with the camera. Took a few looks at me to see whether I was a moving object or part of the house, finished drinking, and flew off, but not before I snapped a few shots, including this one. table for 4?submitted by robertkamper on sat, 2008-10-18 23:45.
patiently waiting for an open spot at the bird feeder, these feathered fellers positioned themselves in a pleasantly patterned array whilst I was shooting asters the other day. Tried looking in the Sibley and National Geographic bird books but couldn't figure out which of a bazillion brands of sparrows or chickadees they might be. Online Texas Audubon Society didn't help much either. Oh well. Alfr tags: birds wildlife photography up and down for the daysubmitted by robertkamper on thu, 2008-06-12 22:38.
