Anti-cancer chicken eggs produced
UK scientists have developed genetically modified chickens capable of laying eggs containing proteins needed to make cancer-fighting drugs.

The breakthrough has been announced by the same research centre that created the cloned sheep, Dolly.

A study done recently determined that roosters will lie to attract a female. And the hens, after initally falling for the cad, will learn to ignore him! The hens also prefer their males to be brave.

Well Susan has encouraged me to toot my own horn, so I am now doing so. I have recently finished a book about those delightful creatures near and dear to me -- chickens. It is titled, appropriately enough, "The Little Chicken Book".
