Junk Art & Cliff People

Looking like something out of a science fiction, post-industrial age TV series, the junk art windmill that is the focus of this album sits on a wooded strip of land lying just below a major Halifax thoroughfare on one side and a steep rocky slope that drops into a large paved parking lot on the other. It was apparently built from shipyard scrap perhaps 50 years ago (I am guessing; it’s clear only that it isn't a recently built structure). Trees completely block it from view in summer, less so in winter when the pictures were taken.
