My friend of many many years, Denis Anderson passed away. Denis was a wonderful person who added so much to my life - that I can hardly begin to pay proper tribute to him. He was 43 years old, and his death was not expected.

This business of missing the people we care about does not get easier as we get older. It does not get worse. It just reminds us that it will happen - that we lose our loved ones. Just the same this hit me pretty hard. I liked this world just a little bit more because Denis was here. When not talking with him, I would think about him. I thought last week that he should be on our syrinx site as he is very much like everyone that is here. I also thought that at some point I would suggest to him getting a dog. Denis loved walking and I pictured him as having a big golden retriever.
