Been a while since I posted some thoughts, but I've been in a whirlwind of health problems in 2009 which have extended horribly into 2010.
Since May of 2009 I have had a total of 4 biopsies to try to determine why a mass suddenly appeared in my thyroid. After ultrasounds, needle biopsies and node explorations it was determined that:
A. I probably got smacked with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) sometime around Sept/Oct 2008. The "flu" like episode was bad to the point that friends remember how sick I was at that time.

Do the Google search on "levadex". Breaking news in the science and pharmaceuticals arena. Thomas Jefferson Headache Institute or something like that has been doing clinical trials and just published their results.
I can hear their commercial already:

Just had a mild migraine last night, woke up with pain in the eye and an electric light show going on. Topomax seems to be doing its job, "mild" is a relative term for a bad headache but I can get up and function with it, and it is the first in a long time...But - plastic surgery to get rid of migraines? So they say:

"In this study, we've shown that surgical treatment of migraine headaches is safe, effective, and that this reasonably short operation can have a colossal impact on the patients' quality of life – all while eliminating signs of aging for some patients, too."
