My dog is a butterfly

It's a Southern Dogface, to be more exact. I finally shot one of these (two, really, the other is even more out of focus on another flower a little further back. Well, at least now I know what one type of yellow butterfly has been flying around in the neighborhood is. I think there are some that are both bigger and smaller - maybe I'll be lucky enough to get a picture of one of them, too. One day.

that's right, folks... all the green and brown trees and blue skies you want, but a single cardinal is all it takes to make your picture complete... that's the power of the color red, makes even bare branches look festive...oui oui, c'est moi, I'm forced to admit...
