evening star rain lilies are bloomingsubmitted by robertkamper on wed, 2006-04-26 01:05. terms: organic gardening
These native wildflowers look a bit like onions most of the time, just some green stems sticking out of the ground. They get their name from their habit of blooming a few days after a rain, approximate flowering season is May-September but it has been warm this April. Typically things get dry and 100+ degrees hot by late June to early July through September. grass and clover lawnssubmitted by susanjillian on sat, 2006-04-01 13:11. terms: organic gardening
This wonderful site teaches us that grass and clover lawns are pest resistant, require little or no nitrogen fertilizer, and are trendy, as stated on the site's first page. This information is excellent and I encourage anyone who is trying to create a really healthy lawn to consider this before eliminating clover. There is also great data on how to monitor the chinch bug so that developing infestations can be nipped in the bud. wild flowers rise againsubmitted by robertkamper on wed, 2006-03-01 20:20. terms: organic gardening
